Young Film Academy (YFA) is the UKʼs leading provider of filmmaking courses, schools film making programmes, community filmmaking projects, film making outreach events and kids film parties to young people aged 6-19.
Based in London, and now in their 15th year, they work nationwide to help 7,500 young people each year complete their first digital films, from West End-premiered movies to curriculum-linked film projects in schools.
Young Film Academy is a hub partner in the British Film Institute (BFI) Film Academy Network, helping to find top UK emerging talent. YFA designs and delivers high quality educational film projects for the UKʼs largest arts institutions, right down to small groups of kids who just want to have fun making movies or hosting film making parties at home…

對於熱愛電影的年輕人來說，無論是電影製作或演出，YFA的全包式夏令營都將夢想成真：包括吃飯、睡覺、呼吸都是和電影有關的機會！夏令營在英國領先的寄宿學校之一庫爾福德學校舉行，包括所有食宿、膳食、學費、短途旅行、設備和活動。
YFA夏令營的學生將分為2名工作人員：電影製作團隊（為有抱負的電影製作人）和演員（為有抱負的演員）。學生在營地期間可選擇他們希望加入的工作人員。
每個成員都將通過與電影行業專業人士的實踐練習，研討會和大師班，培養他們自己學科的專業技能。而且因為他們熱情地相信最好的學習方式就是走出去並做到這一點，然後電影製作和代理工作人員將團結起來共同製作電影。
每週的YFA夏令營都會在現場電影院為朋友和家人準備好所有已完成電影的首映。將會有一個擠滿了人的房子，幕後的特殊功能，講述了這部電影是如何製作的真實故事，我們也在猜測一些傻瓜捲軸.....
For young people who love films, whether it’s creating them or acting in them, YFA’s all-inclusive Summer Camp is a dream come true: a chance to eat, sleep and breathe movies! The camp is held at Culford School, one of the UK’s leading boarding schools, and includes all board, meals, tuition, excursions, equipment and activities.
Students on YFA Summer Camp will divide into 2 crews: FILMMAKING CREW (for aspiring filmmakers) & ACTING CREW (for aspiring actors). Students choose which crew they wish to join for the duration of their camp.
Each Crew will develop specialised skills in their own disciplines though practical exercises, workshops and masterclasses with film industry professionals. And because they passionately believe that the best way to learn to is get out there and DO it, the Filmmaking and Acting Crews will then combine in teams to work together for the production of the movies.
Each week of YFA Summer Camp culminates in a Premiere Screening of all the completed movies for friends and family in the onsite cinema. There will be a packed house, behind-the- scenes special features telling the real story of how that movie got made, and we are guessing some blooper-reels too…

最後，經過四個動人的日子，演員和工作人員（加上朋友和家人）有一個難以置信的機會，可以在2020年8月29日星期六在英國電影學院BFI南岸欣賞他們完成的電影首映。有一個頒獎典禮 他們的電影和復製品讓每個學生永遠保持著他們進入電影世界的第一步永恆記錄。
Under the tuition of their award-winning filmmakers, students on the Four Day Film School embark on a whistle-stop tour of film’s origins and history: they learn screen acting, writing, editing, camerawork and even fight choreography – before they get out there and do it for themselves. Everyone has a chance to develop his or her own role and no one escapes without saying “ACTION!”
Finally, after four action-packed days, the cast and crew (plus friends and family) have an incredible opportunity to enjoy the Premiere of their completed film at the British Film Institute, BFI Southbank on Saturday 29st August, 2020. Thereʼs an awards ceremony and copies of their film for each student to keep forever – a timeless record of their first steps into the world of cinema.
