Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Milan

Arrival in Milan and private transfer to the hotel.


Milan, home of Italy's stock exchange, capital of fashion and design, Milan is a seething metropolis. The grand Gothic cathedral, the Duomo, in the heart of the city is the symbol of the city. Nearby the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele with its luxury shops. Sparkling nightlife, the prestige of opera at La Scala, and endless opportunities to eat the best of Lombard and Italian food will make you love Milan.

Day 3: Borromean Island

Breakfast at the hotel Hop on Hop off Lake Island Tour ( English ). Spend a day island hopping around the Borromean Islands with a 1-day hop-on hop ferry ticket around Italy’s Lake Maggiore. Departing from the lakeside town of Stresa, create your own sightseeing schedule using the ferry as transport. See the elegant island palace and formal gardens of Isola Bella, admire the lush vegetation on Isola Madre and stroll along the charming promenade of the tiny Isola dei Pescatori. Enjoy lake views as you cruise between them and spend as little or as long as you like at each island. Day 4: Sirmione ( Garda Lake )

Breakfast at the hotel Train Stresa/ Desenzano ( 2hand 56 minutes). Taxi to Sirmione not included in the quotation ( 20 minutes ) Sirmione is one of the most popular "sights" on Lake Garda, has been settled since the Stone Age, with the magnificent Grotto of Catullus and the Scaliger Castle is the perfect place to spend the day. Day 5 : Sirmione

Breakfast at the hotel Today you will enjoy the famous SPA at the hot spring with light lunch included. Terme di Sirmione is one of the most important thermal Spa in Europe. The unique proprerties sulphurous terapeutic water contain sodium chloride, bromine and iodine. With a temperature of 69 degrees Sirmione's baths is used to treat respiratory problems,rheumatism and skin disorders as well as a general relaxing feeling you can have in the sauna, steam, massage, mud treatments and thermal circuits.

Day 6: Verona

Breakfast at the hotel Taxi to Desenzano ( not included) and train to Verona ( 20 minutes ).

Verona is one of the main tourist destinations in northern Italy, owing to its artistic heritage, several annual fairs, shows, and operas, such as the lyrical season in the Arena, the ancient amphitheater built by the Romans. The city has been awarded World Heritage Site status by UNESCO because of its urban structure and architecture. At your arrival, meeting with the Chinese/English speaking guide in Verona train Station and city tour of Verona: Arena di Verona, piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Juliet house, San Zeno Basilica and the Church of Santa Anastasia, Piazza Bra and more… Around 12.30 it’s time for lunch! You will have the chance to discover some of the typical specialties of the area. In the afternoon your visit will continue with some time for shopping in the Corso Porta Borsari and Via Mazzini. The historic centre is peppered with interesting little boutiques, luxury brands such as Gucci, Max Mara, Burberry, Givenchy and Valentino all have stores in town, but the city boasts individual manufacturers and emerging labels too. Day 7: Valpolicella ( Wine tour )

Breakfast at the hotel Valpolicella Tour with Wine tasting and soft lunch. Valpolicella: is a zone of the province of Verona, Italy, east of Lake Garda. The hilly agricultural and marble-quarrying region of small holdings north of the Adige is famous for wine production. Valpolicella ranks just after Chianti in total Italian Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) wine production In the afternoon you will have a special cooking class in an enchanting villa, just around Verona. Cooking class will start at around 15.00 in the magnificent location of Villa Ori’ and will be over after the dinner. Pick up at 14.00 and transfer by car at the ancient Villa in the center of Valpollicella, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Aperitif on the pool. Cooking class. Dinner with wine. Transfer back to the hotel by car Overnight in Verona.

Day 8: Venice

Breakfast at the hotel Train Verona Venice ( 09.30 - 10.40 ) Transfer from train station to the hotel with water taxi. Check in at the hotel or B&B and meeting with the Chinese speaking guide. Visit Venice, capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region, is built on more than 100 small islands in a marshy lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Its stone palaces seemingly rise out of the water. There are no cars or roadways, just canals and boats. The Grand Canal snakes through the city, which is filled with innumerable narrow, mazelike alleys and small squares. Overnight in Venice.

Day 9: Murano & Burano

Breakfast at the hotel Venice : Tour Murano and Burano ( English group tour ). Explore the famous islands of the Venetian Lagoon – Murano and Burano – on a half-day sightseeing excursion by motorboat. This morning or afternoon tour is a great introduction to the magical islands around the medieval city of Venice and its enclosed bay in the Adriatic Sea. The first stop on our visit to the Venice islands lagoon will be to the Venice island of Murano, known throughout the world for its ancient tradition of glass making. The excursion then continues to the Venice island of Burano, the bustling island famous for its colourful houses and the hand-crafted lace work, true works of art made of lace that can be purchased at local shops or street stalls. This is the perfect tour to visit the Venetian Lagoon!
10th day:

Breakfast at the hotel Venice : Tour Murano and Burano ( English group tour ).
